bwWeiterbildung (OpenScience Focus OER): Let’s go open – the ZOERR and open teaching/learning materials

his introductory workshop will present the Central Open Educational Resources Repository for Baden-Württemberg (ZOERR). It will cover both the utilization from the user's perspective and the author's side. In addition, the features will be explained and questions about licensing, persistent identifiers, etc. will be answered.

bwWeiterbildung (OpenScience Focus on OER): Let’s play – Playful and interactive design of teaching materials with H5P

Gamification is now a recognized factor in university didactics, for example when it comes to intrinsic motivation of students, and is also indispensable in university teaching. In the workshop, we will learn how to use game mechanisms and methods in a simple way – "badgets" and "rankings" in moodle and ILIAS and h5p elements in teaching.

bwWeiterbildung (OpenScience Focus on OER): Find and use free images and co. for legal re-use

We give an introduction to Creative Commons (CC) licenses and briefly discuss the general conditions for the use of free images, videos etc.. We will also introduce you to sources of free multimedia content and give you tips on searching for and using legally reusable images and the like.

In this discussion group, we talk about Open Educational Resources and Open Educational Practices in an open format. General questions, specific projects and practical challenges will be discussed, both with experts in this field and with other participants from the field. Ideas and requests can be sent to the moderation team in advance.

Students go OER

Providing coursework and producing OER teaching/learning material - a "win-win" situation. In the workshop, we show teachers and students the potential of OER for teaching and learning.

Media design - didactic, simple and intuitive

In this workshop, we will focus on the design of OER materials in a very practical way. Teaching concept and media design with common tools: How do I create material, what should I pay attention to didactically, how do I publish my OER safely and visibly.
